Busan One Asia Festival, the foremost celebration of K-pop, will take place on June 8 and 9.

The annual concert usually occurs in October; however, officials moved it to June to accommodate fans. Several grand-scale events happen in Busan in October, such as the Busan International Film Festival, making it difficult for K-pop fans to reserve flight tickets and accommodation. Now that BOF will take place in June, more fans than ever can come to Busan and see their favorite idols.

The two-day festival happens at two separate venues. BOF kicks off on June 8 at Busan Asiad Main Stadium in Yeonje-gu District, where K-pop legends and rising stars will take the stage for the "Big Concert."

The headlining act of the "Big Concert" is g.o.d, one of the best-selling musical acts in Korean history. Referred to as "the nation's idol," they debuted in 1999 and helped form the first generation of K-pop acts. The group garnered broad popularity with chart-topping hits like "Dear Mother," "Lies," and "Love and Remember." To this day, g.o.d's music is celebrated for its touching lyrics about love, family and friendship, which comfort fans of all ages.

The second group is Super Junior-D&E, a sub-unit of the boy band Super Junior featuring members Donghae and Eunhyuk. Their first studio album, "Countdown," topped the iTunes Top Albums charts in 22 countries when it came out in 2021.

Zero Base One, a music group formed through television channel Mnet's reality competition program "Boys Planet," will perform at BOF for a consecutive year. Other acts include Billie, H1-Key, BoyNextDoor, Lun8, n.SSign and Nowadays.

On June 9, the "Park Concert" will happen at Hwamyeong Ecological Park in Buk-gu District. This outdoor concert is free for anyone to attend.

This year's headline act is MeloMance, the folk duo acclaimed for hits like "Gift" and "Love, Maybe."

Paul Kim will also perform. The singer-songwriter has chart-topping hits, including "Me After You" and "Every Day, Every Moment."

Popular artist Jukjae will also entertain concertgoers. The musician has a passionate following thanks to his song "Let's Go See the Stars."

Joining them on stage will be singer Lim Han-byul, better known as Onestar, and rapper and record producer Peakboy.

The second ticket sales window for the "Big Concert" will open at 7 p.m. on May 3 via Yes24. For more information, visit BOF's official website (bof.or.kr) and social media channels, including Facebook (@BusanOneAsiaFestival) and Instagram (@bof_official_kr).
